Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran penting sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) dalam mendukung kebijakan pemerintah di bidang kesejahteraan sosial. Dengan meningkatnya kompleksitas permasalahan sosial dan tuntutan akan layanan yang lebih baik, SIM menjadi alat vital bagi pemerintah dalam merancang, mengimplementasikan, dan mengevaluasi program-program kesejahteraan sosial. Melalui studi literatur dan analisis kasus dari berbagai negara, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi beberapa peran kunci SIM, termasuk peningkatan efisiensi administrasi, pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, koordinasi antar lembaga yang lebih baik, dan peningkatan akuntabilitas. Tantangan dalam implementasi SIM juga dibahas, seperti masalah interoperabilitas, keamanan data, dan kesenjangan digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi SIM yang efektif sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kebijakan kesejahteraan sosial, namun memerlukan pendekatan holistik yang mempertimbangkan aspek teknologi, organisasi, dan sumber daya manusia.
